Why do all good things come to an end? I for one, enjoyed Wet Set just the way it was. It was a shock when the bed wetters forum changed, now this?

The time had come

There were lots of things I liked about the old format too, and that's why I delayed a long time in changing it. I held out longer (years longer!) than most webmasters. But it really was getting very outdated, and there are lots of features in the more modern format that just aren't possible with the old one.

What is it specifically that you don't like about the new forum?

Being able to quote, edit...
latest replies put topics to the top...
smilies...
and as I just found out, photos can be put inside the message.

The old one was easy to follow and was less personnel. I believe you got a lot more spontaneous responses. Yes all the new features are improvements, but to something that was not broken. Wet Set forums were unique, now they are just like all the rest. I know it is hard for IT people not to institute change, but most of us here are just hung up on things from the past and don't enjoy that kind of changing.

I think the old format was easier to follow

Im glad it was updated because of all the spam but i did like the old format better, it seemed easier to use and follow. But thats ok I think once we use this new format for a wile it be be just as easy and user friendly we just have to give it time.

Change is Good

We needed the changes. Perhaps we do not like some things but the boards are becoming more interesting and by subscribing to interesting threads we can foillow replies easily. The best is that the boards are getting more stories and less links to other boards and less spam. I like it.

No, the new format has merely chased off the anonymous trolls and spammers. Only people with a vested interest in contributing stayed.

I agree it was great before you could almost chat on the old forum there was always something new. Nowadays it seems as though people must have gone elsewhere.
