Finally got home

I was in P-land most of last week, and a good deal of the week before. My dad's wife passed on the 28th, we went down on the 26th, but the hospital wouldn't let us in at midnight, so we went to bed and did it again in the am.
My daughter and I are doing as well as expected. My dad's wife didn't like me, but she was the only mom I ever knew.

I am sorry for your loss, and I hope you'll see happier days ahead. It is sad losing anyone close to us, even if they aren't the most friendly with us. She was still family, after all.
