Andy, fighting and arguing with the people you are having problems with does not help your case at all. I've lost count how many times I've said to someone 'this is only a chat room, it's not real life!' If someone says something that you don't like or you don't agree with, why would you even care? If you were having a serious problem you could always have emailed me to help you sort it out before things got out of hand.
It's absolutely fine to have your email address on your profile. Anyone that is interested in you will most likely go there anyway. There's no need to plaster your email address in every place possible. You were told numerous times, if you wanted to give other members your email address, to do it through a private message, rather than fill the site up with your email address, that really had become to look like nothing more than spam.
I have taken a look at the chat logs to make sure that what ever action taken against you was called for, and noted that on one occasion you even commented that neither myself, or any moderators can tell you what to do. Your right, no we cant. But we can choose who uses our site and who doesn't.
I'm sorry if you are upset by this decision, but when we receive lots of complaints (and I'd like to point out they were not all made by the people you refer to) we have to act on them. You would not listen, leaving us with no other choice than to get rid of you completely from the site.
We rarely have any problems with the social networking site. This is due to the people that dedicate their time (completely uncompensated) to ensure the smooth running of it. The service is provided to you for free, if you don't like it you've lost nothing. You could have gone away and found a site you do like without stirring up all this trouble.
