My wife and I were at a party last night and she got black-out drunk, and we agreed that I would not drink so I could drive. (Good thing too, I doubt she could even FIND our car). Anyway, she babbled the whole way home, and needed me to carry her in the house. I had to wake her up when she fell asleep on the toilet, take her coat off, take her pants off, take her shoes off, put her pajamas on her, give her crackers, give her water, carry her to the bed, lay her down, put a blanket on her, put a pillow under her head, roll her on her side so if she threw up she wouldn't choke to death, wake up every hour to check on her, leave a nightlight so she could find a toilet if she needed it in the middle of the night...and yet people look down on people who wear diapers? Drinking is socially acceptable (and in some cases encouraged), but wearing a diaper isn't? More proof that it isn't about what is right or wrong, it's all about perception. From my perspective, I would MUCH rather have her wear and wet/mess a diaper than me have to go through all of that with her. Such a pain in the ass. (She wears and sometimes uses diapers for me, but she doesn't like it and only does it to make me happy. She disapproves when I wear them). I don't really expect the fact that I want to wear a diaper under my clothes when I go out to be accepted, I would just like people to consider the fact that what they may enjoy isn't exactly sainthood, either.
