  • And yet...we're outcasts

My wife and I were at a party last night and she got black-out drunk, and we agreed that I would not drink so I could drive. (Good thing too, I doubt she could even FIND our car). Anyway, she babbled the whole way home, and needed me to carry her in the house. I had to wake her up when she fell asleep on the toilet, take her coat off, take her pants off, take her shoes off, put her pajamas on her, give her crackers, give her water, carry her to the bed, lay her down, put a blanket on her, put a pillow under her head, roll her on her side so if she threw up she wouldn't choke to death, wake up every hour to check on her, leave a nightlight so she could find a toilet if she needed it in the middle of the night...and yet people look down on people who wear diapers? Drinking is socially acceptable (and in some cases encouraged), but wearing a diaper isn't? More proof that it isn't about what is right or wrong, it's all about perception. From my perspective, I would MUCH rather have her wear and wet/mess a diaper than me have to go through all of that with her. Such a pain in the ass. (She wears and sometimes uses diapers for me, but she doesn't like it and only does it to make me happy. She disapproves when I wear them). I don't really expect the fact that I want to wear a diaper under my clothes when I go out to be accepted, I would just like people to consider the fact that what they may enjoy isn't exactly sainthood, either.

    My daily observation.

    Merry Christmas to all!

Given the fact that you are willing to do all this plus stay sober so she can enjoy partying it seems a small request to ask her for some tolerance with your fetish. It seems to me like your wife is selfish and probably a bit spoiled.Next time you go out and she wants you to drive do so under the condition that you both wear diapers (hers for your convenience).

I babysat enough drunks when I was in high school. Not EVER doing that again. If you get that drunk on a regular basis you should probably get help... it's not healthy.

Anyways... sorry you had to suffer through that for a woman who seems intolerant of our fetish.

        What the hell?

The OP said she does wear and use a diaper occasionally, despite not being into it herself...that seems very much not-selfish to me.

She is pretty accommodating about my diapers, which is nice, but I would say she does the minimum that I ask of her. ("Okay, I have a diaper on for you. Now what do you want me to do?" That sort of thing. I haven't actually asked her to wear/use a diaper in probably three or four months now. It just doesn't seem worth the hassle when she seems so bothered by it. It's like sure, a cold shower is better than no shower, but you save yourself the trouble unless you REALLY need it). She's no raging alcoholic (neither of us are; in fact this is the first time I had seen her THIS drunk in several years), and I only wanted to highlight the fact that the definition of right and wrong are subjective and people shouldn't be down on themselves for liking diapers. I would shake my head on a drunk chick stumbling out of a bar while puking her guts out in the gutter while simultaneously filling my diaper. Doesn't mean I don't think they should be allowed to do it, I just find their behavior as confounding as I'm sure they find mine to be.
