I don't get how it is so difficult to write things properly.

I mean, misspellings is fair enough because some words are hard to spell, but missing letters like the h from has, and adding in commas all over the place, that just seems bizarre.

Maybe you are genuinely of low intellect, in which case, may I suggest using one of the many free software programmes that can help you, but more likely, you are just a lazy fucking fuckwit in which case, you will appreciate that one of the reasons you get less responses is because people tend not to like lazy fucking fuckwits.

Are there any AB/DLs going out tomorrow night in Waymouth? It is the town's fancy dress party. There have been many people in nappies over the years.

Yes, Apemantus, my brain hurt a bit trying to read that. I think it also killed my inner child just a little as well.

Zavater, the shift key and use of all of the letters really do go a long way around here. I'm not trying to be a grammar Nazi here, but I have never in my life seen the comma (,) used in such a fashion as you did. Besides the whole diaper thing, what would your elementary school teachers say about your sentence structure?

Have a happy, joyful and prosperous New Year!

          Love,
          Jack Tors

I notice this kind of text a lot from colleagues who attempt to use smart-phones as email clients. Some of them have taken to adding signature lines to emails originated from their smart phones apologising in advance for poor grammar. This seems to me to be a slack-arsed way of dealing with the problem but shooting the offenders remains tragically illegal in so many legal jurisdictions.

Of course if a conventional keyboard was used (and assuming that the original poster wasn’t trying to use it whilst inside a tumble dryer) there isn’t much of an excuse.

I’ve left a small contribution of punctuation marks in this post for use by the needy.

Ok, no doubt you feel like an idiot but seriously, you can control your comma and full stop usage, and I doubt you are allergic to capital letters, so a couple of them might not go amiss.

But my point is a more straightforward one. Presumably, you would actually be most pleased if someone responded to your original enquiry, if someone, as it were, made a connection with you through this board.

That outcome is much more likely if you don't come across like a complete fucking idiot whose communication skills are lower than a primary school kid.

But hey, I am assuming you are intelligent enough to grasp my point, which as you are clearly not, does indeed make me the dimwit!

                Spelling

Have you ever stopped and thought why someone cannot spell or cannot write proper?

                Could be genetic.
                Could be a disability.
Could be a failure to understand the spoken word.
                Could be dyslexia.
Could be that they are of lower intelligence.
Could be that they are in a hurry in case someone catches them.
Could be that English is not their first language.

No one has a right to criticise another persons abilities, take a step back and check out how perfect you are.

Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

All very valid in other threads no doubt, but it is clear if you bothered to read the whole of this thread, those do not apply in this instance - as one of the posts made clear, if the original poster had a disability, there are a range of software products to help them, but as their replies later imply, it's not due to a condition or their abilities, it is because they were lazy and acting like a prat.

Not quite sure which book of triteness the fish comment came from but it is perhaps the most dumb thing on this thread, and that really is saying something!

Maybe you think only perfect people can criticize, but not sure the world would get very far if that were the case. Nice utopian ideal, not much use. In this instance, much better that the criticism was made because then the original poster can improve how they write and increase their chances of actually achieving what they want (again, read the whole thread to understand), so criticism helps them, and helps the readers in future.

                  Win-win!

PS Just a word from the English teacher, that first sentence should have the final word proper written as properly not proper. That's not a criticism, it's to improve your performance in the future - see...!

PPS You do understand irony well, what with writing a post saying nobody should ever criticise as a criticism of someone who has criticised another. Oh, its like the eternal staircase or other visual mindbenders, and you probably don't even comprehend what you have done!! As Shakespeare had it "hoist by thine own petard"!!
