  • Why not colored diapers?

Why are all diapers white??? Does this have something to do with the breakdown process after they are disposed??? Not only would colored diapers be pretty and more fashionable but it would be so much fun to wear pink diapers or maybe some sexy red ones under a short skirt. I can't possibly be the first one to question this.

I agree. Have always thought it would be awesome to have a pack of rainbow diapers in different colors... that way I could decide "I feel like red today" like underwear users can!

      Well...

You could try plastic pants over them. Available in all sorts of colours, and white can show through the translucent plastic. Rubber pants that are tighter fitting might be better here - keeping things compressed a bit like the mesh pants and providing some colour too - I've seen rubber pants in various colours too, including some snazzy metallic tones

I agree though, as I'm generally a "medium" in diaper sizes (generally white). Seems that large has most of the different colours, from what I've seen - green in one brand, blue in another - but then you're choosing between the feel as well as the look...

          colored diapers reply

Recently I emailed Depends to inquire and suggest this very issue. They replied ssme day and unfortunatley nothing is planned in their tape tabs diaper line. Of course the women and men pull-ups come in colors/non-infantile designs. Try putting regular panties over your diapers, buy the full cut panties and a size or two larger than you would normally wear. I have done this and it is quite aesthetically pleasing. I like the silk Hanes from Wallmart that come in a package of three. Give it a try.

Problem with non-white nappies is that you can't see the pee so well. Like if you're a bit dehydrated, you can REALLY see it when the nappy is white.

That's part of the fun I think!? Well, is for me!

Some diapers are colored, however this is typically done to help medical staff identify the proper size easily.

As far as colors for style... molicares are Purple... though most ABDLs (I believe) prefer white dips.

Abena Delta Forms are blue or a kind of sea-green all over depending on the size. I think the small Abri-Forms are yellow (they used to be, at least). Tena (US) are blue/green/purple. Molicare are pink and I believe some sizes/absorbencies are a pale turquoise colour? You can buy a black diaper from that buntewindel (sp?) company.

Lots of colours out there if you look carefully.

Saying all diapers are white is like like saying all women have big boobs. There are blue, yellow, peach, green, orange, yellow beige that I'm personnally familar with.

Most manufacturers for sizing identification make some distingishing trait for their products. Most it's color/colour.

                    Absorin Orange & Yellow

Here in Europe you can get Absorin in Orange and Yellow. Orange are the thickest. You can see them here:Absorin Orange and Yellow. The Orange are great as they swell up really well when wet.

                      Personally, I like white diapers.

They were plastic, white, and thick when I was a baby. No need to change a thing.
