  • Tena Slip Maxi

Does anyone else find that the stuffing in tena slip maxis is prone to clumping in the front? That's without any adjustments btw

Molicare seem much better, but I like the swelling / bulk of tena slip; Good fun to double up on them, or put in a booster pad, but shame about the stuffing Seems to be a more recent thing - maybe in the last year?

I have noticed the filing in my tenas moves a bit, but then they hold more and fit better than the molicare. I have tried the abenas too, but find that they dont wick very well, leaving the front and crutch are soaking and sagging and the bottom area dry - hence my nppy of choice remains the tena maxi slip ......

Glad it's not just me then! I find a booster pad in them helps a bit, but like you ozzi, I still prefer tena slip maxi - swings and roundabouts I suppose...

Never tried tranquility or any American brands - well, I think attends are American aren't they?... Didn't like them though.

        My checklist:
        1. thick
        2. Swells up
        3, plain-ish white / maybe "medical" / pastel colours
        4. Fitting - probably as important as 1 and 2!

I recently got a case of the Maxis from Bambino... they sure are a lot thinner than they look in pics and vids online. Other than that I can't really complain... they do hold a lot considering and the fit is quite comfortable. No clumping issues here... have worn a few to work and they clump less than my usual Abenas. Sadly being imported by Bambino they aren't really competitive in price.

Well, I couldn't understand it... I mean I'm only doing the same squat thrusts, lunges and jogging on the spot that I've always done...

Seriously though, I suppose it's dependent on use; I've seen (and tried) the senset immobile range designed for bed ridden people - lots of padding in the back basically. Swelled up like hell though, so fairly fun. I'm using a booster in a tena slip and putting a molicare super over that atm. Fun times
