Ch 4 documentary (UK only)

I just seen an advert for a documentary due to be shown @ 10pm on 13/12/2012 about adult babies on channel 4.

I can't say what it'll be like, but thought it may be of interest to this board.

Hmm...

The thing with going on TV is that they probably get 10hrs on camera for every 10 minutes they use. But, unedited footage / unbiased reporting and objective viewpoints don't score viewers.

I've seen something along these lines before, where TV companies are asking for "willing participants". The program turns out to be car crash watching, and our community gets made out to be weird again - it's the modern equivalent of a Victorian freak show really.

Also, the willing participants may themselves be part of the problem, as one could speculate that it's only attention seekers, maybe the naive or unwittingly open, who get edited into social outcasts / misfits for the purposes of the program. Kudos for having the balls to appear on the show if anyone's reading this who has appeared on a TV show. Like I say, its speculation that a certain type / specific segment of people are appearing on these shows.

Sounds interesting though, so might watch it if it's available on line sometime...

MTV with Totally obsessed. They tried to get people on there... I tried to give them an intellectual psycho-social documentary on the AB world and they turned me away.

They said they wanted to see more mommy/baby play and less education... Just goes to show you that TV channels suck and you will never see reality on TV.

hey, just wanna say living in the uk i watched the whole thing, though would love to know who the 19 year old girl was that was going to the uk couple for an hour she looked really hot, wish i lived in america seem to be a lot more ab's

I watched it with Me-me (my wife) and she found it interesting, but still a bit weird and that Me-Me still wants to just be 2-4 yrs (similar to the girl in the documentary)

don't think she'll be swapping roles for me any time soon but I'm happy enough as we are.
