Molicare going cloth backed...

So Molicare are turning to the dark side ...

Finding very few plastic backed nappies in the UK now. I think ID slips are still plastic backed, and asked about Gompel's range, which is plastic backed apparently.

Amazing how many companies are buying into this cloth backed crap now. At least we have a few independent manufacturers in the US that still offer plastic backing.

I dropped Molicare/Hartmann an email about this a while back. They told me that they're keeping the plastic layer but putting a cloth-like layer on top of it.

Strikes me as a strange choice but clearly they've at least listened to the complaints about weeping and smells from diapers that have just the shitty non-woven layer.

My biggest problem with the cloth backed diapers is stretching/sagging. After a few hours they don't fit snugly anymore and I either have to wear something over them or keep pulling them up.

Well Molicare have always been saggy... Plastic or otherwise, I wouldn't imagine that will change
