  • Brazilian Baby Diapers also in Adult sizes.

Interesting concept. This manufacturer makes 3 types of "Kisses" diapers: for baby's, hospitals and adults. Note that the packages and logo's are quite the same.

I've lived in Brazil for 3 years. One thing I noticed that people are much more open about bodily functions, pads and diapers the we are in the US. Young women would openly buy pull-ups for heavy periods, and put them in the toilet visible for all guests. They would also openly buy adult diapers for family members or neighbors and would give the left overs to others.

Here's a story of a 20 year old girl who is helped by the community, because she needs 8 adult diapers a day after a traffic accident. Her mother is very greatful for the diapers. There's even a picture of her in which the 20 year old is wearing nothing but a white diaper and T-shirt:

Your second link doesn't lead (anymore?) to the story of the 20 year old girl that you mentioned.
Could you check and post a new direct link?

Their slogan is: 'Proteção e Conforto Para toda Família', which means 'Protection and Comfort For the whole Family'. Note that their Baby Kisses and Adult Kisses are sometimes promoted in the same advertisements and promotional videos. Next year i suggest we've Pampers for Babies and Pampers for Adults and Huggies for Babies and Huggies for Adults!

It's a great step towards normalising nappy/diaper wearing, for all ages who need (or want) to wear them. Continuous ranges of baby and adult nappies makes sense, instead of institutionalising "incontinence products". A nappy is a nappy, whatever age and size you are!

Every infant diaper manufacturer in the US also has an adult brand, they're just not all under the same name.
