Nappy types

Over the past few years, I've been trying out various different nappy types. I started with the bulkiest Attends years ago as they were all I could find locally in Bournemouth. They were fine, liked them, then they went all "soft-feel" backed, grrr.

When I moved, I ordered loads of types, used to love the old Tena slip maxi, they were my favourite, then I tried Abri-form and Lille supreme - loved both of them too.

Found a place in Woking that stocks Contifit - have to say these are easily the best ever. They are plain white (well, very very very very light blue, but look white) with no patterns on, double tapes so you can un-do and re-do, are very thick and hold LOADS with no leaks, awesome nappies. Almost as good as Abri-form (which I can't find in any shops).

Today, thought I'd try Tena slip maxi again - very disappointing it has to be said. Too thin. They are also too wide between the legs.

So, my fav are now Contifit.

Just thought I'd share with anyone looking for a change. Anyone else has any favs?

Actually, you know what - having been wearing the same Tena since I type that message and I've been drinking, it doesn't half hold a load with no leaks!

When you walk, it makes a better noise too ;-)

As I am disabled I use Contifit 24/7 the majority of the UK NHS incontinence services supplied the Contifit, I wear a medium and for heavy wetting, I am normally in a single one for around to 12-14 hours depending on when I get up or when my carer is late and they leak very very rarely. I cannot not remember the last time they leaked and wet the bed.

hi i live near bournemouth and like you i like to try different brands of nappy i were all the time every day .molicare is my favorite i always put a zap pad in this is a Hugues with the plastic backing cut of and then inlay in this makes the nappy super absorbent i also like the delta range. were in woking do u get the contifit i would like to try this 1 do u live near bournemouth eria still as i could trade with you ,i can get abena ,delta molicare and Lilli but the Lilli now have cloth like backing they a are OK do you now any girls in to nappies

Time to try

ust try contifit .... I currentl wear and use tena maxi slips and love them - the crinckle, the aount they hold, the sag when wet and the fact that the tapes stretch rathe than tearing or falling off

hi i have been wearing molicare and they are good ,i did a large car boot yesterday in bursledon and loaded my nappy ,and was glad i did the toilets there are filthy

What diapers?

Well I have to wear diapers and I get them from Direct Medical, they are (First Quality) diapers they do the job. Some leaks from time to time but with the economy this is all I can afford. My choice would be Abena X- Plus, if I could afford them again.

Do Contifit have a plastic backing like Tena Slip Maxi or are they cloth backed like the new Lille?
