There are lots more sites now. Tube-likes, like wetpantsboy, or all the tumblrs, or experienceproject.

Plus, this forum is run by a content producer, so that limits discussions of other content producers.

Which Tumblr pages cater to this fetish? Links, please?

As to the OP, there are a few hangers on, but most of the crowd has moved on to greener pastures. It's been kinda dead on here for quite some time. I really don't know what it would take to draw people back here--maybe live streaming videos? If Nikki did some live shows, I would totally pay to see them.

The biggest problem here is that a community never really developed. Even in the "glory days" it was more of a porn board than a community. But it was never a great porn born, because, as vaarjas pointed out, non-wetset content wasn't particularly encouraged (that's ok, though, it wasn't really excluded specifically either). Now there are better porn boards and better communities. I come here to harvest links (sorry) and because I've always come here. But I spend most of my time at omorashi.org now.

I honestly, truly believe that there is a community that could be formed around this fetish and the net could be cast wide for new people to join. In my opinion, all of the sites listed above are good for one thing or another, but none of them are very good for building a community. I absolutely loathe the interface on Experience Project. The others are more geared toward content distribution, and while that's a good thing, they're very fragmented and not reliable. This site is too heavily moderated in my opinion. I tried to start a subreddit but I don't think reddit is very democratic; its engine favors fluff and doesn't guarantee every participant equal visibility.

I've been interested in starting a "promised land" website for us for a while. It would mainly focus on a discussion board but also have the ability to add images and possibly videos. The only problem I could see at this point is that if videos were to be on the table, there'd have to be some intermediary service to do the heavy lifting, as my hosting package would quickly exhaust its bandwidth. I have the domain name, the hosting, and the skill to do it... All I need now is time :-(

I haven't found that many boards where legit discussion of #2 can take place as most watersports forums tend to ban the subject. However I think it's certainly the case with watersports/pee related stuff that there are a lot of forums and discussion boards out there, all trying to do broadly similar stuff. Maybe we're beginning to reach a point where less would be more - fewer forums but perhaps higher quality material?

I have found omorashi.org to be much more community-based than content-based, or at least equally so. One only has to go to the IRC channel to see that people are more interested in having normal conversations with like-minded people than just getting their rocks off. Sure, there is peeing-related discussion, but it isn't constant, and it is much more similar to the type of conversation you would REALLY have while hanging out with people with this interest. There is a panty-pooping group, and while it isn't very active at this time, it just needs more interest to become so.

Don't get me wrong, I think it is fabulous that wetset has run these boards for so long, and for free. Whatever your thoughts on moderation, advertising, etc, most of us have been coming here for ages, and it has been a welcome refuge for those of us who can't seem to find any fulfillment in real life. I won't say that the aforementioned factors have nothing to do with the "decline" of this board, but I do think it's a problem that has been going on for many years, and the root of it has always been that the majority of people who visit here just want to get content. As the preferred type of content has gone from story to picture to video, and companies have become more and more diligent about protecting their productions, people have posted less and less, and shifted the focus from discussion about a mutual interest to the quest for the ultimate whack-off material. The fact that the board is run by a content-distribution company contributes to that attitude, because many non-regualars find the forums through the commercial part of the site, and are looking for that material rather than a discussion.

Ok, I've said enough about it. I'll just say that anything you get for free is better than nothing, and there are always other alternatives to explore.

Dear nikki, why not add video section on pictures board?

Dear nikki, why not add video section on pictures board? Now, almost every piss/poo sites have it, maybe people could post their own vids! I convinced that it could be a solution to bring back some people on the awsome wetset! just do it and i'll tell it to any sites!!! and i'm pretty sure wetset's users will do it too!

                            Interesting thoughts, watchyougo.

I checked out omorashi.org, and my thoughts were the following: First off, it may be silly, but the domain name is a word that a large majority of westerners would not be familiar with. I only recognize it because I've been lurking around this community for almost 15 years. People who like pants pooping and curiously venture out into the web looking for others who share their interests more or less need to be lead directly to a site, and really, a domain name like pantspoopers.org will say it all.

Second, the interface is too damn complicated. Modern mediocre web design seems very focused on cramming as much bullshit as it can on a page and adding assloads of features. I think a community forum should be very specific in scope, and very simple to use. Looking at omorashi.org, I immediately felt like it wasn't worth my time to bother looking around the site because there was no real content on the front page.

Edit: One point I forgot to bring up is that an objective of the site I envision is that people would share their own personal content and foster the generation of self-shot, user submitted videos. That's a pretty long shot, but it's what I envision.

This is what omorashi.org has now, though, at least on the pee side of things. I'm not arguing for it over wetset or anything like that, but they have a trusting community where some people are sharing self-generated content, so clearly they're doing something right. People do share content here, but it's more pictures and fewer videos. I imagine being difficult to navigate has its drawbacks, but it also seems to keep the trolls out.
