i read all your posts with great interest, because I'm in the same situation.

I think the source of all our problems is, that our fetish is not accepted by the society we are living in. When we think of the past, most fetishes or other sexual orientations was nothing to talk about. For many of them, things changed. And it could be also changed for our interests.

My hope for the future is, that more people would talk about their fetish in public, maybe in TV Documentations and make it a little bit more normal. So that I don't have to be afraid of loosing my job when I post a picture of me on a fetish board, and women can see my lovely face, and actually what a nice guy i am. ;-)

Actually, that's not such a bad place to look. When I was back in that phase (late 30s) of "exploring my sexuality," I typed in bdsm and the name of my town and immediately found a little yahoo group of people who used to meet once a month at the banquet room in a pizza place. Well, shadow, I have to admit that the whole bdsm scene wasn't really my bag either. There was a group in my town. I wondered if it would be a good way to meet some perverts, so I went to some meetings. They were nice people, very ordinary except for the fact that they all have "interesting" fetishes.
