I think part of what confuses me about the trends is that they are behind the trends in the rest of the porn industry, corporate and self-made, fetish, and/or mainstream. In terms of the history of porn, the trends in our kink's media could even be called old fashioned.

The porn biz figured out that not everyone faps to just one build of woman. Not every porn consumer wants to see just vaginal sex. What's deemed sexy has changed over the years, especially in porn, yet the folks making panty poop porn and, it would appear, many of the folks consuming it, have conservative tastes.

Thing is, so too did lots of people consuming mainstream porn but then innovations came along and it turns out folks love all sorts of things.

Sure they can't cater to every single strange kink the average one-handed web-surfer brings to the table but maybe diversify a bit?

My guess - and it's only a guess - is that what's available is dictated partly by what the available actresses are willing to do.
