Those numbers I rubbish. I own a few dotcoms, and I show numbers like that as well. The only problem is some of my sites are "hobby sites" with no ads or any means of making revenue. I think those rating sites run on crazy algorithms based on traffic and age of site as well as other unknown metrics.Comment

That's just a generic computer generated valuation based on hitcounts though. I don't know anything about donations, I thought they just meant that as in "upload more videos", if they were asking for money it was pretty stupid considering none of their videos were original and they were hosted on a "make your own social network" site, for free.Originally posted by messyjean

More VK videos
One of the best features of the social parody site was the links page on the forums section to the VK vids. They were updated from time and time. Sadly that page appears closed now. Is there any comparable page that shows those? I have tried signing up on VK but for some reason it keeps bouncing me out. ThanksComment

No way man. That place was nice on the surface but it had deeper problems. It was run by an idiot who had no interest in the subject, didn't know how to monetize his traffic, didn't know how to fix bugs, paid too much for bandwidth, and blamed his users for his shortcomings. The guy had pre-approval for uploaded videos to stop copyrighted content, however half the shit he "approved" was copyrighted with a watermark, lots of times from WS. I figured something was up when the site was closed one day after signing up for it.
What bothers me is that I gave my e-mail address.
Wonder what's really being done with them.
