Firstly, congratulations on the new board. I'm hopeful that we'll see a more vibrant and intelligent place now.
To kick-start some content along, I tried to re-post a recount of an adventure I'd had the other week. It was posted on the old board and was quite popular.
When I tried to post, I got the following error message:
The text that you have entered is too long (12,159 characters). Please shorten it to 10000 characters long.
It occurred to me that on a forum that frequently carries stories, a 10,000 character posting limit could be a problem.
I suspect that this may simply be a default setting. Is it possible to increase it?
