Someone on another board flagged up an early morning desperation scene on last Monday's episode of Emmerdale, in which Gennie was caught short. Last night I finally got round to watching it and, predictably enough, it was pretty tame to say the least. For forty seconds the subject was skirted around in the silliest way imaginable. Why is it I wonder that soaps can subject us to foul language, sexual innuendo, verbal and physical aggression, not to mention other nasties, yet deny viewers the relatively innocent sight
