Goodbye from me

.... for now.

A pee fetish is a lot like drinking alcohol. In moderation, it can be enjoyable, harmless, and bring great satisfaction. But expose yourself to it too much, and it is easy to let the urges control you, rather than the other way around.

I am not in a bad place in my life, but there are things that I would like to change. So for the next couple of months I will be hitting the gym, and giving up a few things, such as drink, bad food and.... well surfing the web for stories, videos and pictures of women losing control of their bladders.

The truth is that this board has been slowly dying for the last year or two. After being spoiled with new pictures and videos virtually every day during the 'golden era' (no pun intended) of webshots and youtube, finding new material has become a lot harder in recent times.

So with that in mind, from midnight UK time tomorrow, until at least after my trip to the USA in early September, I shall not be logging onto wetset or conducting any wetting related surfing.

Hopefully there will then be a web-ful of fresh material when I log back on in the autumn.

I get where your coming from. I don't have any advice for you because I'm kind of thinking the same thing. This place really is sucking wind. It was nice to be able to go to webshots or myspace before they messed it up. Imagine how many new pics are out there waiting to be seen...expecially on facebook. I've been wanting to do the same thing for years. I have been a Wet Set participant since... probably 1999, or somewhere around there. No offense to Paul, or any of the wonderful contributors, but there just ain't that exciting feel that there used to be. Almost every post would be titillating. not so last few years.

Firstly this board has been a lot less busy since the change in format - a similar thing happened to Skymouses site. It cut out quite a lot of the mindless posts. However, human bature being what it is, people are more reluctant on the whole to sign up to forums which require registration as opposed to posting on ones which don't. Secondly, I think there's a a change in perception too. What was once new and exciting ceases to be that with long experience and over familiarity. Also I think our expectations sometimes dun ahead of what's actually available.

You say it's a lot less busy, but I don't know if that's true. There's a lot less spam. I wouldn't call the other board 'busy' either.

I think as bandwidth has increased, people have become more interested in videos rather than text. And I think some of these sites' more creative members have been run off both by registration and malaise. Speaking for myself, a story written by a guy or a story written by a guy posing as a girl has to be really, really excellent for it to be interesting to me anymore. I also think this attitude is somewhat pervasive around here, and so the community in general seems really hostile towards new members.
