Just because one part of the business doesn't make money you don't just axe that. You also have to speculate to accumulate.

Your attitude and the way you deal with problems will enhance your standing in the market place. If you say 'we hardly think the chat rooms are worth the effort' will only rub up your potential customers who will think you don't care about anything.

If people are only bookmarking the wetting board link then why not do like Shar and Ger have done and not allow direct linking.

You joined WetSet to make big changes but all you did was rub everyone up and upset many, many potential customers. Your choice of moderators needs looking at and the way you ban people is a joke.

Basically, all the forums you look after are failing - do you not get the message yet. I wouldn't be shocked if I was banned for this comment as it says in the rules that on-one can question the moderators decision.

When we are talking about moderating we are talking about the moderation of the Wonderland community site chat. I think maybe your confused with that and the message board.

Even in your reply to me now you just said you are putting money,time and effort into something. That's what your supposed to do in business.

The reward you get is customers. If you then moan to your potential customers that you are tired of doing that, you are giving the wrong impression.

These forums and chat rooms should be the gateway to the rest of your business but you are not using them to your best advantage. In fact, I see more threads to other sites on here than I do for stuff from wetset. Is that because the people like TVGuy, advertise his site and offers a free movie and WetSet is not prepared to give anything away. (Speculate to accumulate)

You are still completely missing the point! My community site is not a business, it sells nothing, charges nothing and makes nothing! I am not looking for customers there. It was intended as a place for people to meet, chat and discuss their fetish/life style with others with the same interest.

Wet Set is a business and up until a few months ago were two completely separate websites. We had members email us asking if it was possible to have a place to chat in real time rather than the slow way a discussion board runs.

As we already had the Wonderland community site, that includes a chat room, we decided to mingle the two sites together somehow.

I have never thought for one minute Wonderland would make any money and that was never the intention. What I am asking for is a little appreciation and for anyone that doesn't like it to just jog on ... quietly! Without all the drama!

Obviously Wet Set on the other hand does need to very carefully look after the side of the business that makes money, every business has to! If Paul didn't then you wouldn't be here right now having this discussion with me as the message board would not exist.

AGAIN I was not talking about the Wet Set forums. I was talking about MY chat room on WONDERLAND. If I wish to have more girls there and only the guys that know how to talk to girl respectfully, that's up to me. You want it to be different? Then go make your own and run it in what ever way you see fit!

Up until about an hour ago, the chat room had a room called 'general' this was to talk about any kind of wetting (diapers, water sports ...). This is what has caused the drama in the first place! The DL's in the room get all upset when someone talks about water sports and those in to water sports (some members, not the majority) try and push there fetish on to those that are not interested. Then a big drama like this irrupts. I'd have loved nothing more than the DL's and the pants wetters to have got along together, but it wasn't happening!

I honestly do not believe that you have ever entered the chat room, as you know so little about it. So yeah, I do find your wanting to offer advice kind of amusing.

As for Nikki's way of running things here or on Wonderland I have known her online and personally for several years now and I want to say to anyone reading this thread that doing the movies she does and indeed setting up and running the community site is something she takes great pride and devotion in. She has done her upmost to make a safe friendly enviroment for other like minded people regardless of their background to enjoy, unfortunately their is always 1 person out there that has to upset the applecart and start a load of drama such as posted above about things hence rules are put in place !. It doesnt matter that the rules are on a fetish site, without rules things would be chaos on any site ! so I think having a moderator or someone to watch over things and keep things running smoothly is a very good idea, how anyone can say Nikki has a "dont care" attitude to any of it is outrageous !. The rules and moderators were put in place as she DOES care and wanted to safeguard all users of Wonderlands site. IF she didnt care, why would she bother ??.

As stated by herself Wonderland is a "community" site, its not a buisness as such, does not generate any profits whatsoever and is completely free for all users. The fact she takes the time to keep the site updated and running smoothly I think is something that should be commended not slated for gods sake !!

I am honestly not slating anyone. OK, I agree some confusion on my part getting the chat rooms and forums mixed up.

I don't bother with the chat rooms basically because I am a male and no-one wants to talk to a male on chat rooms. Even the females congregate together or go off onto private chats. I have not been on wetting wonderlands chat rooms because the past chat rooms have never offered me any pleasure.

My partner and I did an experiment and she went on 'the pool' chat room and was inundated by requests for pm's. No-one wanted to talk to a male on there. Also, as I have found a lot of, the moderators get a bit of power (a delete button would you believe) and they think they are God himself. However, this is not your chat room I have experience with. I should have a look at your chat room Nikki before I say anything else.

I do think what I said about this forum should be thought about. It's time some promotion of Wetsets main site should be on here and I don't mean just the advertising banners at the top which no-one ever pays any attention to. Do like the others do and promote your site with some promo's. You admit that people have been on here for years and never visited the main site - bad marketing.

Nikki, I just wanted to let you know that because of this thread I went back to wettingwonderland.com and found that I had joined when the site first opened. I'll be sure to go back now that there is more activity there.

I run several web applications myself and I know how people behave in the face of a free service. In the tech community we talk about this a lot -- customers who pay $5 will expect $5 worth of service; customers who get something for free will act like they're entitled to it. Honestly, I think people think that websites just spring fully formed from the head of ICANN and aren't created and maintained by actual people.

Just know that for every person who gives you grief, there are a lot of us who appreciate what you've done and are thankful that you continue to put time, money, and effort into it.

Seconded. Cheers Nikki, and especially, Paul. I have regularly been coming to Paul's site for over 10 years - since before I was legally allowed to do so! It is the centre of the online wetting community for many people.

Whilst it is a shame that it has got quieter in here, it's not the end of the world, and IMHO it is not down to any differences in the way Wetset is run. There have always been people bitching and moaning on this forum, and it's to be expected - it's the same on any other internet forum, even completely unrelated to adult content. That hasn't changed anything.

What I think has changed is that a few years ago webshots was in it's prime and youtube was throwing up brand new real wettings almost daily. The easier good content is to find, the more people will look for it, and post it. That draws more readers, who in-turn become new contributors, and so it snowballs.

Now the content has become much harder to find, hidden behind more secure social networking like facebook, the number of contributors had dwindled. That's a shame, but it's not down to anything Nikki or Paul are doing.
