With my background in film and web development, I could probably (with the help of maybe craigslist or something haha) come up with some kickass content.

I'd be all for someone with a film development backgroung to attempt any sort of desperation/wetting video. It amazes me that out of all the english speaking sites in this fetish, not one of them really tries to make a decent video from a production standpoint. Simple things like editing, basic acting directions, and better clothing choices would go a long way.

Greetings! I thought I would weigh in on this conversation, because I was in the exact same spot a few years ago. I too have a background in film and television, and am not that bad at web development. I figured I could produce some amazing content, and maybe even earn enough to pay off a few credit cards while I was at it.

My strategy, when I first started, was to take film style production and apply it to making some great wetting videos. We wrote miniature screen plays, scouted locations, blocked shots and action. We used a full production crew, expensive HD cameras, dolly track systems, tons of expensive lighting. After weeks of work the shoot was complete, the video was edited, and I put it for sale online.

People bought the video, they started buying it right away. In fact, after the payment processor took their portion, I managed to walk away with $250. Unfortunately the cost of the crew, paying the models, and the cost of locations, I was almost $1500 in the hole.

For a while I continued to try to do elaborate film style productions, but I just kept loosing more and more money.

Here is what I learned from my experiences- Hopefully it will help you out:

-Girls who are willing to wet their pants on camera usually aren't that great of actresses. It is really hard to get good acting out of them.

-Genuine desperation is always more compelling then an acted scene.

-It makes no difference to most people if you are shooting with a $1000 high end consumer camera or a $10,000 professional ENG style camera. People care much more about the content, as long as it looks decent, people are happy.

-I found that people seem to prefer it when the model genuinely drinks a lot of water and we follow her around with the camera until she can't hold it anymore to scripted, planned desperation and wetting scenes. It is just more realistic when it is real- even though it might not be the best shot or lit scene ever.

-Each individual video only seems to make about $20 - $30 a month, for about ten months. Then it stops. It is helpful to keep this in mind when budgeting your shoot. If your shoot is costing you $900, you need to produce at least three or four videos during that shoot and be willing to wait at least ten months to break even.

You try the UK then! The majority of UK adult models are willing to wet themselves on camera. We seem to be quite open to it in the UK.

Yeah, all the established companies are run by morons. Either that or what you think won't add much to production costs will actually add quite a bit to productions costs, and they're not exactly raking in the dough as it is.

What you have to understand is that porn (even really niche fetish porn) has become highly competitive since the Internet became prevalent. Most people look at all the porn they care to and never pay a cent. You even said yourself that you rarely pay for content, but I bet you look at it. Maybe, as you imply, you would be willing to pay if it was higher quality, but how much are you willing to pay? You mean you're willing to pay what the sites currently charge and get higher quality content? Sorry, that doesn't cut it. In order to justify putting in the effort to make high quality content, a site would not just have to believe that they can cover the costs of doing it (which is not at all certain) but that it would actually cause a substantial increase in profits. With the current market where there is so much free content out there, it's just not a wise business decision.

I guess I'm trying to get my point across the wrong way. I definitely see what you're getting at. I'm probably a little more naive than I realized.

I'm not talking about a major overhaul in quality. While it would be nice if someone with actual film experience had an unlimited budget and access to real acting talent and wasn't concerned at all with making money, I know that's just not going to happen.

How much would it add to the production cost to break a video down into smaller scenes as opposed to one long continuous take? A little editing could go a long way in my opinion. That could also make their videos a little more concise cutting down on length and size of the files. And some companies need to realize that with dialogue often less is more. How many girls keep up a running monologue while they are peeing their pants?

Maybe I'm still being unreasonable to expect more from porn suppliers, but what is a message board for if not for ranting about how people don't do everything the way I want them to do it?

I have some suggestions and personal preferences in case you go ahead with the idea.

- Use normal lighting, but include subtle back lighting to help show the stream
- Sound. Love the hissing. Don't cover up with background noise or music.
- Don't zoom during the wetting. I love to see her face. If you must have a closeup, use a second camera.
- Anger vs Whiny. Desperation videos are usually too "victimy", with lots of helpless whining. In real life, the desperate person is usually angry about the lack of a place to pee. Just my opinion, but anger+desperation is sexier then whiny+desperation. Let her be assertive about the injustice of no bathrooms. Let her be pissed off. A little post wetting whiny works. Just a little.
- Older. I like older women 20-40's.
- Nationality. I prefer North American women, UK, Western Europeans or Australians. The East Europeans and Asians seem like (and may be) exploited hookers.
- Dress in normal, every day clothing. Slutty heels, or ragged jeans seems fake.
- Attitude. A little embarrassment OK, but deep humiliation does not do it for me. Later its nice if she feels good about the wetting.
- Tenderness. Post accident tenderness, especially between two women, maybe with some kissing.
- Pay the models well. Treat them kindly. Make sure they think a wetting vid would be fun and they are not doing pee desperation because of economic desperation.
- Him wetting? I'm not into men, but women's reactions to men wetting are a turn on too. Like the idea of turning the tables. Maybe him and her wettings?

I'm no expert. This is all just a wish list. Best of luck.

If I knew anything about the subject - and I don't - I'd concur with everything PottyDance says there. In my limited experience of buying adult DVDs, I'd say a key ingredient which many of them lack, particularly the vanilla ones, is believeability. Too often many of the scenes don't appear to bear any relationship to real life and that robs them of credibility.

If you make a desperation-focused video in which three or more English-speaking women need to pee fairly badly at the same time (which appears to be what you are proposing), then I would buy the video for that alone, if the price was reasonable; such videos are fairly rare. I would also be impressed by good acting, particularly if the emotions are the ones I'm hoping for (what emotions these are would depend on the scenario); however, good acting is difficult to guarantee ahead of time, so if you were hoping to fund the production from contributions (which you have not mentioned, but if you were), then I don't think you could get more money just by promising good acting. A third thing that would impress me would be if I particularly liked the scenario of the movie. Do not give this third thing too much weight; I have seen extremely promising scenarios ruined by poor acting or disappointing character emotions. That said, one theme that I like, which I have mentioned, is desperation as the result of a prank played by a woman, who then laughs at her desperate victim; however, this is not what you have proposed, and I don't want to sidetrack you. Another theme that I like, which relates more closely to your proposal (and which I had forgotten about when I wrote my last post), is desperation as part of a game. I prefer games that are more complex, but, again, I don't want to deter you from making the kind of video that you want to make (although, if you are interested, I can go into more detail on either of these themes).

TVGuy: I know that you have filmed a number of prank scenarios. I have bought some of your videos, and joined your site briefly to watch some of the ones I couldn't buy individually. Do you think it might be realistic for you to make a prank-themed video in which, when the prank works, the prankster laughs the triumphant laughter of seeing someone fall squarely into her trap? I'm thinking here of pranks that result in the victim having to pee but not having access to a toilet. It's really difficult to find desperation prank videos in which the prankster laughs hard, and I'm not sure if this is because they're difficult to make or because filmmakers prefer to go in a different direction.

I don't imagine you would have any trouble coming up with prank details, but if you would like ideas, I have several.
