Some girls think, they have been potty trained, but once the get involved in big girls activities, like having fun, laughing-out-loud, drinking, partying, long car trips, pop concerts, they sometimes find out that it requires special skills to stay dry on these occasions. They might have a last accident at 21, or even have a second series of accidents at that age. Also, I don't think this happens to men, a bladder which completely empties like a balloon.

This video has it all: embarrassment in front of 8 years old, a complete loss of bladder control, soaking blue jeans, not knowing what to do: laugh or cry, the walk of shame. She should go back to pull-ups for a while, I would suggest. And then finish potty training.
