Nope, I am 1984 baby and can't believe I turn 27 this year. Where has it gone? As it was, when I first found wetset I must confess that I gamely ignored the "You need to be 18 to visit here" messages, just like every other site on the web! So maybe it seems that I am older because I have been posting here for almost 11 years now.

Sadly we all have to grow up, the passage of time waits for no man and first finding wetting sites on the web all seems a very long time ago - I guess it is! It's funny to think back and realise that ever since I have visited this website I have craved a return to childhood and real wet pants. Yet I had actually still been wearing nappies to bed a mere 4 years before I found wetset. Back then, those 4 years felt like a lifetime. It seemed so long ago since I had been able to be a real child wetter. Now I guess in the context of time it is really a very small period! And at the time, although I would have loved to have wet myself openly, I never dared because the idea of a 16 year old wetting themselves seemed just, well, crazy. Now I look back and think, "wow, you were so young, I think people would have been a lot more understanding than you ever thought". But you don't feel so young at the time, trying to be all grown-up!

I have, over the years, enjoyed seeing the board evolve. Like many of you I guess, the first time I put a wetting search into an internet search engine I had no idea what I'd find or even why I did it. I was delighted to even find out that I could see a picture of a grown woman in wet pants - I really didn't think grown women would ever even wet themselves let alone me see a picture of the moment. And of course shocked to find out I was not alone with my feelings.

Since then my experiences have been broadend. Webshots took off around 2003/04 and suddenly we had real pictures of real girls having actual wetting accidents. And yet I remember seeing some of these pictures of girls in wet pants laughing with their friends and instantly thinking "that must be a spill - why would a teenage girl be smiling about it if she actually wet herself in front of her mates? She'd be mortified surely?". I am so glad I was wrong!

Because then youtube took off and I realised it is a lot more widespread than I ever first imagined. It became EVEN sexier! Some of those great youtubes are amazing. Oh to have actually been there! Maybe because I was actually embarrased as a child that I was a bedwetter, even though in time it became something I obviously became attached to, I guess I figured all people would be as embarassed about wetting themselves as I had grown up being! I never imagined a real girl, smoking hot sexy even in dry pants, could actually laugh so hard she'd piss herself, and then just laugh about it with her mates. The really amazing thing is that we only see the ones that get videod, and that then get posted online, and that then get linked to a wetting site.

Imagine how many more of these incidents there must be that never get videod, or that get videod but never put online. We see just a miniscule proportion of the hot girls that have pissed themselves! How many must go to bed, very drunk after a heavy night on the wine and cocktails, and wake up cold and wet in bed, yet never even tell anyone about their shameful accident, let alone have it find its way into our shaking hands? I love the idea that on any given Friday or Saturday night, statistically there must be hundreds of hot drunk women wetting themselves, or wetting the bed.

Sorry that my post have descended into a kind of look back and thank you to wetset from bringing this to us over the years, but I leave you with one final statistic to enjoy.

Here in the UK there are roughly 60 million people, so we can say roughly 30 million women. Ages 18 to 28 make up roughly 12% of the population (I looked that one up!), so that is 3.6 million women in that age band.

I don't know what the stats are on incontinence and bedwetting, but it always seems to be above 1% in any gender / age group - but even if we were super generous and said a mere 0.1% of women in that age group still wet the bed or suffer from bladder loss regularly - that is nearly 4 thousand women in the UK between the ages of 18 and 28! For those of you in the USA, 150 million women at 12% at 0.01% is 18,000 women!

I am an older poster, not telling just how old. In the 80's I purchased the very first edition of Wet Set magazine and had a subscription. Since I was a kid I have loved wet pants though I did not know why or what it meant. I tried to find adult diapers in the 70's and could only buy those plastic pants with snap in liners that hold very little. I found the news groups when I got the internet and then Wet Set came online and I was hooked. I only wish I could wear a diaper or wet my pants all the time but my wife would never understand (Don't even suggest I tell her). Love this board and am very glad Paul has updated it to control the security a bit better. Let's make this the premium forum board it should be. It will take all of our efforts. I'm male and live on the west coast of the USA. In the 90s I stumbled upon Patches' Place and discovered the appeal of wetting (yes, I mean "discovered"; it had never occurred to me!).
