  • Important news about HD Wetting and HD Diapers

    Gmail has decided they do not like the IP of the server that I use for HD Wetting, HD Diapers, HD Voyeur, and Fetish Video Store. Any e-mails that I have attempted to send from my server to a Gmail address come back with the dreaded 550 error. This means that my e-mails from my server are completely blocked from being sent to any Gmail address.

    As I'm sure you can imagine, this produces a bit of a challenge for me. It makes it difficult to communicate with my models who use Gmail, and difficult to respond to customer support inquiries. There are other ways to communicate with my models, but for customers who are having difficulties I have no other way to contact them besides the e-mail address they provide.

    In order to better facilitate communication with users of my sites I have launched a new forum. The purpose of the forum is to provide a centralized location for communication about Fuzzy Squirrel Production's websites and to get support. Though I welcome civil discussions on all sorts of topics, I am not intending for the forum to be a general fetish community that in anyway competes with Wetset or any of the other fetish message boards out there.

    You may visit the forum here-

    Possible Solution

    @TVGuy,

    When I ran Patches' Place, we would have this problem periodically with Google. Take a look at the Google recommendations at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126?hl=en and the most important recommendation is to make sure the SPF record is set up correctly on your mail server. They may have tightened up on their DKIM authentication and DMARC policy as well. I have a couple of gmail addresses and I have seen an increase in the number of legitimate messages that find their way into my spam folder so Google is doing something different to crack down on spam and it is hurting legitimate users.

      Thanks Patches!

      I have gone through all the normal steps. Whatever is happening now is something new, it has only started in the last 48 hours. I haven't changed anything on my server, so I can only assume that Gmail must have changed something recently.

        Surely the simplest temporary solution would be to send emails via your phone for a while. It is possibly too soon to assume that this is deliberate and has anything to do with your line of business.

          The issue isn't that I'm sending the e-mails from my computer, but rather the server that they are coming from. If I were to send e-mails from a different server, that would be just fine. Even using my phone, if I'm using the e-mail addresses I set up for my business, it wouldn't work.

          I also don't believe this has anything to do at all with the type of business I run. I don't spam, and it is hard for me to believe that Google would so aggressive in targeting adult businesses. The domain I use for most of my e-mailing is FuzzySquirrelProductions.com which isn't exactly a pornish sounding name.

          Doing some research today, it seems as if Google is tightening their algorithms to filter out more spam. This includes blocking e-mails that look like they came from technology that spammers use. Since I have my own leased server and am using open source mail server software on it, it looks very much like a configuration a spammer would be using. The combination of open source mail server software that is commonly used by spammers on a small dedicated server seems to be what Google is picking up on and blocking.
