  • Nikki, Paul & Wetting Wonderland

I was just thinking the other day what a shame it is that Wetting Wonderland appears to have died a slow death, and then I realised I haven't seen anything from Paul or Nikki online for a long time. Does anyone know what's happened to them?

Wetting Wonderland always appeared to be Nikki's little baby but then it just stopped being updated, the chat went offline for long time and Nikki hasn't been seen since. I wondered if her and Paul had split up as I understand they were dating? But I also realise I haven't seen Paul post anything on the forum for years, as he did pop up every now and then. I wonder where they got to?

For all people have said about this forum not being as busy as it used to be, I first discovered wetting was a fetish shared by others when I stumbled across Wetset back in 2000, when I was too young to be coming here. And this has always been my first stop when I go 'pee surfing' since. Paul has done great things for the online wetting community and it'd be a great shame if he and Nikki have, for whatever reason, stopped being a part of it.

    I second that!

To follow on from Aloo's post, I've been coming here for just at touch longer than our esteemed friend has.

I first stumbled across wet set, back in the days when the links list was on a swimming pool blue background, and the forum was that classic green on black most of us probably still remember fondly!

I think it was about 1997 or '98 that I first discovered how exciting a place the internet could be.. and I only think I came looking for wetset because of a passing comment made by someone in the 'Cascade' magazine (yes, a paper magazine that was sent through the post bi-monthly if I remember rightly!) which was the only source of material like this I could find in the UK. (From out of Boston Lincs I seem to recall!)

Paul and Nikki have done a great job growing and cultivating this site, and to keep it free to access for all of these years is a wonderful thing. Yes, the forum is quieter than in the halcyon days of the early noughties, but at least it's still going!

We've survived the constant shadow hunting of Napoleon, we enjoyed the fabulous work of the long missed Lohengrin, we remember the heady days of webshots updates on an almost weekly basis, we've seen flame wars to match anything that's come and gone on Tatooin and planets from a nearby galaxy, and we have all benefited from the fantastic search work of the aforementioned Aloo, more power to his elbow and mouse!

So if Paul and Nikki have taken a back seat and left the watersports aquatic centre, it would be a great shame, and their input would be missed as much as Shara and Ger's input to the community. I for one will be raising a toast to them, and all the others I have read and looked at over the years..my contributions may be small and quiet, but my presence has been long!

      Interesting in knowing too

As I would also like to know myself . As to what's going on with Wet Set as a whole . In what Paul & Nikki , are up to at present times ?

As I do wonder if Patches , might know anything about them / the website in general .
As she does keep a watchful eye on this Forum . In keeping everything in order on here .
Hope she will reply with what's going on at current time .
      I do Hope so .

Before I got on the internet the only WS content I could find was Nuggett magazine. I discovered wetset around 1996. I miss the black-and-white forums too. Patches was the place to be.

I also joined IRC channels. It was a nice little WS community. People even got married. Made friends I still see to this day. Platonic, but its still nice to have connections. Shar lived in my part of the USA. We talked on the phone a few times before she moved to Europe.

When YIM had video chat, alot of people split IRC. Then YIM stopped. I never got back into IRC.

I really miss webshots. There just isn't the same content out there. I've been google searching with Boolean operators in multiple languages for 16+ years. There's been a major drop in non-porn WS content, like public pop-a-squats and real accidents. There's still tons of pants peeing, but its mainly on purpose NFNF or Russian sex workers. Some are hot, but its not my thing. Its just not the same vibe as American, UK, Australian, NZ, West European, and so on.

People move on. Props to all who keep wetset and female desperation going no matter what they can find.

And just for the record, the adult babies and trannies killed the chat in Wetting Wonderland, just as they killed the chat on DiaperSpace, and every other site they infect.

If wetting wonderland were to restart as a wetting / pee chat, I think it would eventually thrive. As long as favoritism is not given to the ABs and TGs.

Nikki, I tried to tell you this years ago, but I think you just though I was being hateful. But that definitely was not the case. I actually love adult babies, I'd love to date another one, but with their incessant whining and demands, they destroy every chat room they inhabit. Same for the TGs, who insist on being called "she", and insist on being allowed to pretend they're females, something that those of us straight guys that have been burned by fake females find very offensive.

Nikki, please, give Wetting Wonderland a second chance.

                Cascade etc.

Cascade, Fiesta, and other magazines were valiant attempts to offer WS content when it was taboo in all mainstream 'porn.' Then the Internet came along and far better was available for free and direct to your computer. Is it a surprise that these all went to the wall. Cascade tried a web-site for a time but could not compete with the content on offer from the professionals.
While on the topic, can I shed a tear for Giga, some of the most wonderful and graphic desperation and loss of bladder control pictures ever published. Project Pee deserves an honourable mention as well.
Keep your fingers, and legs crossed, that Ger's Female desperation does not go the same way.
I was a subscriber to Cascade, and that got me started writing Desperation Stories, as they gave away free goodies if the published my work. They published some screen shots from Giga, which made me get on the Net, just to get my own copies. I only had dial-up then so it was a case of getting what I could during slack net times.
We should never forget how luck we are to have so much good content available for free now.

                  "Fake females?" Seriously??

Some people find that very offensive and you know it. I could go on a long diatribe about how wrong you are, but it's not going to make a difference so I won't bother.

It always surprises me how narrow minded some people on this site can be. You'd think people who get off on wetting and watersports would be more liberal.

THIS is the best thing I've read on this site and it is also why I think the 'community' that used to exist died...

                    Too many fucking assholes.

You seriously don't think people lying about their gender is a problem? I've fallen in love with "women" that didn't fucking exist. You don't see a problem with that?

I can't even have more than a very casual conversation with a "woman" on line now without insisting on a live cam shot of her first, just so I know she looks and sounds like a female. You don't see a problem with that, either?

A transgender person who conned someone into non-consensual sex in the UK was recently jailed for rape. While we should be completely tolerant of others' sexual preferences and perceptions, be absolutely clear: if someone tricks someone else into sexual activity (including online like Peevert) by hiding or lying about their gender in the perception of the other person, they are sexually abusing their victim. Their desire to perceive themself as another gender does not mitigate that abuse. I for one, cannot tolerate sexual abuse in any form, this included.

To avoid this, people need to be open about their birth sex, current sex and the sex that they perceive themself, if any of these differ. Once a relationship is accepted on that basis, the partners may agree on any terminology and perception they like within the consensual relationship.

If you are transgendered, I don't think you'd want to be with someone who wouldn't accept you for who you are. Lying about it results in you catching someone that you might not really like. There's no point.

I hate participating in pointless discussions like this, but I'm genuinely annoyed at some of the posts here.

Seriously people, this is the internet.
Nobody is completely open and honest about who they are, and you should definitely not expect anyone to be.
I know guys who pretend to be women just to get easy-mode in MMORPGs.
I actually knew a girl who usually pretended to be a man online because she was harassed/stalked by a guy in the past.
And for all you know I might Barack Obama just faking the poor English.
It doesn't matter. Enjoy the fantasy.

If sex and gender are really that important to you (and if I'm truly honest, they are to me), make sure you find out for real before engaging in any sexual activity.

And Wet Trousers, your whole point does not make any sense to me. A transgender person raped someone in the UK, so all transgenders have to be open about their sex? I'm really missing something here.

The point that you are missing, Drying, is that if person A cons or forces person B into sexual activity that is non-consensual were the full facts known, they are sexually abusing or raping them.

It doesn't matter if A and B are male, female or trans-gender, it is a universal moral and legal point. What follow was based on that, not on the UK case, which was just an example relevant to this context.

The point applies just as much to a paedophile raping a child and a man raping a woman (or vice versa) as to a transgender person tricking someone into undesired sexual activity. The only time a trasgender person would not need to be open and honest is if the partner had indicated their willingness to engage in sexual activity of that nature, for example in a chat profile or by going to a transgender bar.
