And "A little bit of knowledge is dangerous" which is clearly your situation. "AV" means "Audio / Video". ".AVI" means "Audio Video Interlace". It's a file format. The one you're using. Encoded with h.264. Which, yes, is an MP4 encoding scheme. And an AVI encoding scheme (although this is the first time I've seen it used with AVI, and I'm not sure why you would do that, since MP4 is much more widely implemented than AVI, including in HTML5 in every major web browser).
The point of all this being (and I was originally trying to be helpful, now I'm being partially helpful and partially smartass) is that you can reduce your video data rate by about 65%, and not lose any quality. You'll save on your upload time, and we'll save on our download time, and all of us will save on file space.
Kind of a no-brainer, isn't it?Last edited by Peevert; June 24, 2017, 04:53 PM.

And for those of you who haven't done so, you gotta see power girl (she's in these videos). Adorable young Japanese woman who fearlessly fights off aliens and monsters. And then pees her pants. <3 My future wife (if Patches turns me down). :P

The way it works (well, how it was initially designed): You have an audio stream and a video stream (no pun intended). For each video frame, there's a matching audio frame, and they are interleaved one-for one: V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-V-A-etc. It's also lossless, so there's very little compression (if any).
