I miss the old site

What has happened to the very good site? Since the new site started is there never something interesting to see. The pictures you show are all from the webcam sections and never some real accidents. There is very seldom new youtubes with wetting. Why has it been like this. A really good site has changed to bee a reel boring site.

Quite right! The old board was slightly quicker to post too and a bit easier to navigate, but it was full of spam, and often descended into flame wars. It would be great for this one to be more active, but still preferable to the old one.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry to break it to you, but the old site was an anachronism that should have been brought out back and shot a decade ago. More or less every single forum in the world now uses a layout like this, and that has been the case for as long as I have been using forums. The old site was like a flashback to the mid-1990s and it astonishes me that apparently there are people on this website that not only think it looked and performed better, but think it's somehow unusual that after over fifteen years of a single site design the admin decided "hey, maybe an upgrade would be nice".

Things change, people, especially on the modern internet. If you're complaining about it, you're complaining about a change the whole rest of the internet made in the late 90s and early 2000s. The site isn't going back, I'm glad it's not going back, and it'd be really nice if the people who can't stop complaining about it would just accept that it's not 1995 anymore.

I mean, I get that some of you are probably significantly older than I am (20) and so it might be that you never visited any other forums besides wetset, but this is really nothing unusual and it'd do you better in the long-run to learn this system than to insist that Paul allow you to use the old one until the end of time. If you're someone who DID visit other forums and you're still complaining about this... well I'm at a loss for words at that point.

e: Also, I totally agree with the two people above me, the old board seemed to have a whole lot more flame wars (probably because people weren't tied to an account so bans happened infrequently, ergo they were willing to go further without fear of punishment) and the rate of posting was not consistent. Activity here has gone down since the change but not to the ridiculous degree that people seem to be making it out to be.

I agree with you completely - I was pretty much going to say the same thing. I was confused at the old-style forum when I started using wetset (I am 20 also). This is much better in my opinion and much more attractive. The activity may have gone down some, but the new board has gotten me to post more. I feel like creating an account gave me a real identity. Plus, my posts are documented and can be searched.

People just don't like change, but this is definitely a change for the better. If it has gotten me to post more, it will get others to do the same.

I guess you misunderstood me. I do not care what layout the forum has. I miss what was in it. Nowadays there are never something of interest, just old things and photos from the webcam shows.

Sorry, I was mostly responding to the second poster, as well as all the other people I've seen complaining about the new layout in other assorted threads. Regarding what you said, I too have noticed a lack of new content (particularly in the picture sections) but it is what it is, and I expect it'll pick up again eventually.

I like it too. One of the things I hated about the old board was that it was just about impossible to comment on an old thread. Well, you could comment on it, but since it stayed at the bottom of the page, no one ever saw it.

I think the lack of arguing over spam and lack of arguing over a certain British scam artist makes this board looks less busy. There have been less YT posts than usual, but YT has always been somewhat cyclic, I'm sure it'll pick up again.

BTW, undergirl, if I can ask: What's the basis of the cute nickname? You have an underwear/panty fetish? You like going pee pee in your underwear? I'm curious

I like this new php format. For the webmaster, I think it's much easier to manage. Plus, when someone replies to a thread, that thread goes to the top. That feature alone was worth the change.

I agree with Peevert. This format permits commenting on posts no matter what their age with relative certainty that others will be able read your views.

With respect to the absence of YouTubes, I for one don't miss all those giggling teenaged girls who never know how to keep their subjects' feet at the bottom of the camera.

I'm betting that many of our fellow wetting fans who frequented the old board over the fifteen years when stories, experiences and photos were the main grist grew tired of the bickering and off-topic posts that had become the main fodder of the board during the YouTube and spam epoch (or epidemic) of recent years.

It's pretty clear that the number of posts is down, but it's unlikely that the number of wetting enthusiasts in the world is diminishing. Like others have said, things are going to pick up again.

I also hope there are more posters in the near future. I was happy to see more posts than usual when I came here today. Hopefully it stays that way. I guess I should be doing some more writing so I can contribute more.
