You answered my question. "Personal experience!" Hardly a definitive conclusion to self esteem issues is it? Not everything is as black and white as you like to make out.

I know people who have lost family members and children and it has destroyed their self esteem. Nothing to do with self discipline, or eating to much as you rudely implied!
