If you read the article it talks about giving up control of your sphincter as a way to revert yourself to a vulnerable state.
If you're fully committed you'll poop your pants in public.
What's the theory behind it? Is it getting into some sort of trance-like relaxed state to the point that the women lose control of their bladders? Is it just a voluntary thing based on being comfortable in a group, so when one's done it they all feel able to do so?
I like the idea of one woman being left dry at the end, then pulling her trousers down to reveal a nappy
I thought it cool that the day before the event the group will hold a practice session. A large group of women peeing their pants for pleasure at a public spot like São Paulo Cultural Center would bring me to the site for the practice session and the final photo shoot. Incidentally, I used to work directly across 23 de Maio from SPCC.
I managed to find a couple of pics from the 2019 Transbordação event but so far I have not found any video. The pics I got were posted in Instagram. If anyone has a Pinterest account, I think there may be some more pics there if you search for TRANSBORDAÇÃO.
I'm wondering more about the presentation itself and what it represents. I don't speak spanish and am a little confused. It seems maybe like a spiritual piece on "letting go of inhibitions"? Would love to know more
Spanish won't help you much since the site is in Portuguese, but you have surmised the premise correctly--reverting to childhood is an expression of freedom that all of us sacrifice to be members of society. You might wish to read the details found in the interview of Dimitra Petsa from the post below. If this kind of movement is starting in Brazil and Greece, maybe it will show up in other countries as well.
