FLV player question

I have flv player for windows Vista. i had a question, How do you rip videos off of youtube and put them to save by way of flv player? I thought i knew how to do it, bu t i forgot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Real player is great - every video comes up with a little icon in the top right hand corner with a download option and works with every type of video, mp4, flv, wmv, mpeg, quicktime etc.

I don't recall a way to save internet videos using FLV Player. There are other methods that work. Aloo suggested one, and the other popular method is to use Firefox as your browser with the Video DownloadHelper plugin.
