Just so you know for future reference there are a variety of websites and browser add-ons that allow you to download youtube videos (some of them allow you to download any .flv videos from websites). A simple google search would show you that

But since I'm such a nice person I can point you in the right direction:

keepvid.com - usually works very well
savetube.com - same deal pretty much

Firefox has an add-on called "Sothink Web Video Downloader" which generally works well with a variety of video formats on a lot of different websites including youtube.

So yeah, try those out and odds are you won't need to wait and risk losing out on a chance to save a nice vid! Hell, maybe you'll be the one uploading vids for another hopeful person.

You may want to try YousableTubeFix. It's a userscript. Chrome has builtin support for those and Firefox has an extension called GreaseMonkey to support them.

It adds a download button to the interface in a clean way, but also adds a couple of other features, which are quite nice to have.
