This is from one week ago, Apr. 25 & 26. There is a show where the regulars from a group of professional performers are each paired with a celebrity, and they are judged on their routines in the waltz, foxtrot, samba, etc. Last Monday there didn't seem to be anything relevant to this forum.
Well, the next night on the episode where the voting results were announced, there were also 'behind the scenes' bits shown that had been recorded the previous night. One of the performers is shown talking to a stage hand, or other sort of technical production crew, right before she had to go out on stage. Their exchange was even captioned, in case it wasn't loud enough to be heard : (her) I have to pee. (him) Not a good time. (her, almost giggling) I realize that.
And then the show went on, and being a professional in her craft, she didn't disrupt the program. I went back and downloaded the live part from the night before to watch it again. There is not actually much desperation to see, but it was beautiful - beautiful music, a beautiful performance, a beautiful dress on a beautiful woman, and I appreciated it even more after seeing her mention of her predicament.
So here's two vid caps - one is just the original performance (from episode #11, 5 min. 38 sec, 124 MB) and the other is the more revealing insight (1 min. 15 sec, 8.3 MB). The person in this case is the show's youngest regular - when she joined 2 or 3 years ago, and was about 20 years old, I thought that she was cute, but like a puppy or kitten, not in a way that attracted me. Now that she's a few years older, damn she's looking good!
Also, its funny that the host on the show who is interviewing the couple is Brooke Burke, who has her own notoriety here. Sort of like the coincidence that it was Paula Abdul cheering and applauding to the Kara DioGuardi performance that I posted a few days ago.
It's interesting how after their performance and good scores, the guy got so excited that he started going berzerk and taking off his shirt, and his partner actually seemed scared and leaned away from him. Then, he reached over and grabbed her around the middle! She clearly says "Don't!" with just the slightest glimpse of panic, but its over too quickly.
