I think Ke$ha is one of those women who keeps really well hydrated. She had a twitter episode where she was stuck in traffic desperate to pee.

Here is a quote from the original article. I kept it as I liked the idea of her losing control. =)

I think it might be all the laughing and coughing on an already full bladder. If they were just holding it cuz they were having fun or couldn't be bothered to go before, then get into a laughing fit, it can cause them to leak or pee.

As to why they do it to begin with.... no idea.
